Xtain's comments about the bed made Alphon's give the other a confused look. How was that strange? That was one thing he had not needed to be taught when he arrived on earth. He started to get really curious about what kind of life the other was leading. He had such a good way of moving, speaking, that you could think that he'd had a rather good upbringing. So him being surprised by the news that the bed was where they were to spend the night was confusing.

His curiosity was mixed with an anxious, sick feeling as his guest's coat was removed. The new wounds, bruises and marks of all kind had not been there this morning. A horrifying thought that maybe he was a cause of this flashed through his mind. But that really didn't make any sense, right? Whoever had done this made a new mixture of feelings rise within him. Anger, disgust and fear. Alphons had caused his share of pain, dying could be painful. But the pain was never the goal and sometimes the end justified the means. But this that had been done to Xtain was clearly without any goals beyond the pain. The memory of how he earlier this day -which felt like an eternity ago- had wanted to humiliate and hurt the man that now had reached out for his hand again made a sting of guilt and shame appear. But Xtain had given back at him for that, hadn't he? Or was it really a punishment if you had enjoyed it?

He led the other to the poorly made bed, the cover was rustled. The angel slept more on top of it than in it, really. He then showed him to sit down before gently freeing himself from their hand holding.
"I'll be right back."
He gave Xtain a reassuring look before hurrying out of the bedroom. He came back with some wet towels. Band aids and such were no use for the angel, and apparently not for the werewolf either. But blood smelled and as it dried it made the skin itch, so it was always in favour to get it off. He had removed his own coat as he went for the towels and were now folding the sleeves up on his white shirt.

"Why was this done to you?"
The angel knelled in front of the werewolf, gently putting a hand on his leg. He didn't want to pry, but in the same time he wanted to know everything. He picked up one of the wet towels from the bed, averting his eyes from Xtain's golden one.
"Let's get you cleaned up, Would you take you shirt of?"
He was almost scared to fin out how much more abuse he would find under there.

PostSubject: Re: Battle of beasts (Shexton, mature)   Battle of beasts (Shexton, mature) - Page 3 I_icon_minitimeThu Jul 05, 2012 1:31 am

Be right back? It seemed like he had begun to question everything but he hardly blamed himself. He panicked momentarily at the loss of contact. Lowering his ears sadly the wolf gave but a faint whine from the back of his throat, even after the reassuring gaze. Still, Xtain rather obediently put both hands in his lap and folded them. He alined his spinal cord and leveled his shoulders. His ears, though down, pointed at a perfectly symmetrical angle and his tail (it had slipped out of his pants somewhere along the walk) lay still at his side. There he waited for the hunter's return.

He didn't have a lot of time to ponder what would be brought to him. Certainly not a weapon. He was on a bed though, which possibly meant more sex even though he'd been promised something a bit more innocent. Still, the hold from earlier was fresh in his mind and Xtain put what little faith he had left in the vow of being held. If Lucifeal knew what he was doing how, he'd be in so much trouble... but it would be so worth it...

His ears rose when Alphons returned. What had he brought? A cloth? Suddenly his stomach flipped and he felt violently ill. The words take off your shirt entered his mind just as he was asked why this happened to him. A shallow breath escaped him as his eye fell to the hand on his knee. Reluctantly he drew his fingers to the hem of his shirt. "My master can do anything he likes to me... he likes to remind me of that, especially around the third or fourth hour of the game." He said absently.

His shirt pooled to the floor leaving the warm, muscular flesh bare. His wrists, now un-construed by sleeves, showed obvious signs of rope burns. Or were they rope burns? Marks were definitely deep around his wrists from something binding them together, though rope may have been too weak. His chest bore marks from nails dragging down clear to his heavily bruised stomach. His nipples held obvious bites and more black and red hand prints bloomed brightly along his skin from Lucifeal holding him down or grabbing him or pushing him or even striking him. Some fist marks could be made out. His back looked like hell. It held old scars that never really healed the right way, new marks from claws and 'toys' (whips, chains, nails, needles), more bite marks, more fist or hand marks. Along his hips the hands could clearly be seen like someone was grabbing them. There were signs of a struggling body, or a jerking body to for the marks were jagged and where the nails were small scabbing punctures showed like someone was digging their nails in to get a good grip. These marks could only be half seen, the other half remained in hiding under Xtain's jeans.

"It'll all be like nothing happened by tomorrow morning." He reassured calmly, keeping his eye equally avoidant of the other's. While he had been dominate before he was less so now. His spirit always tended to be a bit more submissive or calm or apathetic after Lucifeal had sex with him. Probably due to tiredness. The physical and mental toll of being with that man sexually was unlike anything the wolf had ever experienced, and not in a good way. He was, as he had said before, drained. He merely didn't specify that it was of everything. "...would it be too much trouble if I asked for a glass of water?" Water was free everywhere, right? So...Alphons wouldn't mind sharing his for a little, right?

His touch seemed to unsettle Xtain somewhat, but Alphons was unwilling to break the connection again. And he didn't mean any harm. But the request to get the shirt removed seemed to be the really unsetting thing, and he soon thought he understood why. Alphons actually felt sick as Xtain's abused body became fully visible. He handed one of the towels to the wolf before climbing into the bed and positioning himself behind the other.

His master? Who was this man, that could drive a werewolf into this kind of submission? Alphons had hard to see any of the werewolfs he had met to succumb to this kind of treatment, fighting for their lives to the very end. This man, would he be consider as a threat or an asset if it came to the point that he crossed the angels' path in their fight against the werewolf. Alphons quietly wondered whether he was a threat or an asset at this point.
"Your master? Why do you stay?"
Was this perhaps something that the other, enjoyed? Alphons had after all discovered some dark truths about himself just hours ago, it wouldn't be completely impossible that this also could be something that someone could find pleasure in? But this level of abuse? His hand was shaking slightly as he carefully started to wipe Xtain's torn back.
"Tell me if it hurts too much."
It was kind of unsettling, the way the werewolf just dismissed this as something natural. Alphons new that flesh wounds healed, but surely there were mental abuse to this as well? Once more a sting of guilt soared through him as he thought of his actions earlier today.

The angel wasted no time as the other asked for water. He hurried out of the bed and back into the kitchen and opened the tap to let the water flow until it was nice and cold. He peaked into his fridge, even though he knew that he wouldn't be able to find much in there. Three sad locking apples. He brought them with him anyway as he returned with the glass of water.
"Here. And I wasn't sure if you were hungry. But I'm afraid this is all I got."
He wasn't much for cocking. Pasta and cheese. Or plain rice. He usually ate out. Like the sandwich that Xtain had insulted in their first meeting. He sat down beside the wolf again, gently, fiddling with the apples in his hands.

Xtain chuckled bitterly while looking at the towel placed in his hand. Leaving... if he could leave he would have. There was simply everything on the line, however. He was afraid. It was shameful to admit such a thing for his species, though he hadn't been brought up the same way as most of his kind. He had been enslaved at a young age. He had been trained to believe a certain set of creeds and aspects. "I am only alive today because I stopped trying to escape." If the end result was a clean end he might have been able to tolerate that, though he had been on the edge once before. He had been hung in the balance of life and death for fleeing. That was because, back then, he was disposable. Now he wasn't, but that made things worse.

"There's a werewolf named Kieran, Lucifeal's favorite." He murmured while wiping down his arms. He didn't care about the sting or the burn, he didn't care if it hurt. He just wanted to push through this. The real pain was over at least for now, he didn't want to fixate on his wounds when there was a paradise waiting for him in the arms of a racist man who had previously wanted him dead. "He runs... and wherever he hides, he is found. The friends he makes, the lives he touches, all suffer. My master will end them just to hurt him. You should've seen what he did to Kieran's son, Otto just to make him wish he never left... that poor runt is still alive facing hell as we speak to lure Kieran back." He sighed while pushing a hand through his hair and gripping the locks furiously. He hated his job. His life. His expectations. The things Lucifeal ordered him to do to others at the risk of pain for himself.

"I don't want to make friends just to watch them die... or worse." He murmured just before asking for the water. He felt like he was breaking all over again. It was so easy to not think about this sort of thing so long as nobody asked, but now that it was put in his face he just felt like a monster. Maybe the hunter was right. Maybe he, specifically, didn't belong at all... but that little boy, Otto, he'd never harmed anyone. He didn't deserve to be slain or tortured. His eyes were suddenly burning, and he was thankful for the water. He carefully held the glass, letting the towel rest on his knee. It was pink from the dried blood. It wasn't as bad as his back though, the towel Alphons had been using was practically filled with red.

"Thank you, Alphons." He said quietly after washing down the salty taste that lingered in his mouth. His eyes fell to the apples and thankfully he took one. "This is all very kind of you." He said quietly while setting the empty glass aside. He used his clawed nail to carefully slice a piece of the apple before taking the cut out and taking a bite, using his best manners. Soon the apple was gone, even the core, and Xtain was satisfied. He had food and water, his body was no longer covered in his own blood... It was nice to feel a little cleaner than he had before. Now the cool air of the room was brushing on his hot skin. Werewolves were like living heaters, so the cool air was sort of refreshing.

Alphons had heard a lot of talk about evil in heaven, though he had not often encountered it in person. He was a hunter, he dealt with beasts and monsters. You did not expect much compassion from those kind of creatures. But the white guides, the angels sent to earth to work as good conciousness in men's dark minds, to guide lost souls towards the light, they could tell honorific tales of what man had done to man. And more often than not was it just mankind itself that harboured the evil inside of them, demonic powers did not have to work hard to make men turn on each other. So he shouldn't really be so surprised, so chocked over what they were capable of doing. But he decided in that moment when Xtain had finished his story, that whoever the werewolf's "master" were, he was probably to far from the way of the Lord to be of any real use to the angel's cause.

He also thought about the situation, even though he had decided not to think any more for now. Xtain was so incredibly thankful for a glass of water and a shrunk apple, for being allowed to sleep in his bed without having to... well, do anything, being allowed to just be. That they, just hours ago, had been mortal enemies was hard to believe. Alphons but the fruits aside and then gently wrapped his arms around the other, placing a soothing kiss on his head. He wanted to tell Xtain that he wouldn't have to worry, that they both would be safe. Because he knew that humans could hurt angels, but not kill them. And he believed that whatever power this mystical, "master Lucifeal" had over the werewolf, he would not be an actual threat to Alphons. But he could not reveal his true form, it was forbidden. Even though he could sense that the werewolf would be Alphons' downfall as much as Xtain refereed to the angel as his saviour, there were still many rules that sat to deep to be broken yet.

"Come, lay down."
He took the glass from the other and placed it on the floor before he leaned backwards, falling back on the bed. He gestured for Xtain to follow, holding his arms out towelcom the other into his embrace.

As a pair of arms curled around him, Xtain's eyes lifted to gaze upon Alphonse's face. His forehead felt good when it was kissed in such a gentle way. It almost reassured his mind that he wasn't his job, that he wasn't a monster or a terrible thing. He was merely bred to be an abomination and abducted by someone who used that to its fullest. It didn't mean it was his fault. As untrue as shifting the blame was, Xtain still felt reassured. In that moment he didn't feel depressed, he didn't feel the need for his own death nor did he loathe himself to its entirety.

His ears folded neatly against his head as he watched the man slip away and enter the bed, shortly after welcoming him into those arms that fit so nicely around his frame. Was it strange that he was feeling safe for the first time since he was a pup? Laying down, Xtain shifted himself into Alphonse's grasp while sliding his own arms around the man in return. Instinctively his fingers began to play with the strands of golden hair as that scent filled his lungs, suffocating him in peace. For his final act Xtain leaned up to Alphonse and pressed a soft kiss to his lips, holding it there for a while. It wasn't deep or filled with passion, but it was filled with affection. When it ended Xtain left a trail of slow lingering kisses along his jaw line to his neck where his head fit snugly. His eyes closed and nearly instantly the wolf fell asleep in the angel's arms.

As Xtain's warm body laid down beside him, Alphonse felt a sense of warm satisfaction. The feeling of having another body so close, to feel physical affection like this, it was close to heaven. The feeling of being abandoned and alone were no where to be found. There was also a feeling of success, he had managed to save someone. Like a true angel. How ever temporarily it might be. The wolf's fingers in his hair made him sigh in a content way. Somehow he felt that they had started this in all the wrong ways. This should have come first.

He felt how Xtain lost consciousness and wrapped his arms closer around the other, feeling how he also slowly drifted of to sleep, despite all the excitement that had occurred during the day. He had a feeling that with the other's body so close, he would be able to sleep better than he had ever done in his life.

The angel woke early, the room was filled with the grey light that showed that the night still lingered, not yet ready to give way for the dawn. Alphonse draw in the smell och Xtain's hair in a deep breath, now knowing that he had been right. He had never slept so well as he had done with the weight of the other's body so close to his own. After a gentle kiss on the werewolf's forehead the angel carefully released himself from the warm embrace, sneaking into the bathroom.

With the human form came all the calls of nature that angels normally didn't need to bother with. After he had washed his hands and tucked the wrinkled shirt back into his trousers he realised that he was hungry. Normally he ate because he knew he had to. This time he felt a craving. He didn't have to look into his fridge to know that there was nothing to eat there, but he felt reluctant to leave the flat. What if Xtain would be gone when he came back? But he knew that the other also would be hungry when he woke, and breakfast in bed would be nice, right?

The angel made a decision and pulled his coat on and then scribbled a note that he pinned on the inside of the front door before he hurried down the stairs to get to the closest bakery.

Out for breakfast, please don't go. A

PostSubject: Re: Battle of beasts (Shexton, mature)   Battle of beasts (Shexton, mature) - Page 3 I_icon_minitimeWed Jul 25, 2012 11:01 pm

Xtain could immediately feel the shifting of the weight on the bed, the sudden absence of his living teddy bear, the parting kiss to his head with all the tenderness of someone who actually gave a damn... all of it encouraged his groggy awareness to dull once more. Before he was even awake he had sunken back into his previous deep sleep. Xtain remained still for a while before his eyes began to wearily creak open.

Somewhere along the line Xtain had replaced Alphons' body with a pillow. He wondered how that could be and sniffed a little before coming to the realization that the pillows smelled just like him. His eyes closed as he settled back down into the covers for a few more moments. As comfortable as he was laying here on his own, he knew he couldn't stay. He had his orders. If he wasn't going to die he needed to get his work done.

The wolf slid reluctantly out from under the covers and began looking for his shirt. Once he found the tattered, blood stained piece of shit he began heading for the door only to pause. His eyes caught a note just as his fingers were about to turn the knob. Carefully he studied the note before frowning. Breakfast? He wasn't sure he had time for such a thing... but he had made a promise. He'd have to come back later if they didn't get it done in the morning.

Sighing, the wolf began to prowl around the house. He wanted to clean, but everything was so... tidy. The home wasn't very lived in, he couldn't do anything to make it seem moreso... well, he almost couldn't do anything.... this was very awkward. Very, very awkward. He began to shift nervously while twisting the shirt in his hands. Sighing, Xtain decided-against his better judgement-to go back to bed... it was strange, but he felt so soothed in it. He couldn't believe something so pleasant existed. Too bad Alphons wasn't around for him to cuddle up to again...

PostSubject: Re: Battle of beasts (Shexton, mature)   Battle of beasts (Shexton, mature) - Page 3 I_icon_minitimeTue Jul 31, 2012 5:55 am

There were not many souls out this early morning. Alphonse tried to imagine how the streets had looked when the bakeries had small lines of customers already when the sun had just peaked around the horizon. But he liked it. early morning walks, dew on plants, cool air, and no people. It was strange that you could feel more alone surrounded by people than when you were completely alone. He thought of the man probably still lying in his bed. Would he feel alone again?

The smell of freshly baked bread made his stomach rumble and he stepped inside the bakery. The small bell tingle to let the baker know he had company. An old man, with flour on his cheek and hands stepped out in the small shop from the back with a wide smile.
"Good morning! The usual?"
Alphonse did get his breakfast from here once in a while. The baker was a good man, and his bread was good. Nothing like the sandwich Xtain had insulted on their first encounter.
"Yes please. But for two people."
A new light was shown in the old man's eyes and he didn't even try to cover the smile forming on his lips. He had got the feeling that the pale, beautiful customer that showed up every once in a while just as his first patch of bread had cooled down had been involuntarily alone, as if he was incapable of finding an equal among his fellow humans. The angel felt how a small flush spread on his cheeks as he received the hot bag.
"Thank you."
"God bless you, son."
Alphonse had already turned his back and was on his way out the door, the sound of the small bell accompanying the words that sounded almost ironic in the angel's ears, because he wasn't sure of that any more. But he looked over his shoulder with a faint smile.
"You too."

On the way back to the flat he was accompanied by the sun, which by now almost had risen enough to give up some warmth. It was going to be a great day. Suddenly, just some meters from the front door of the house, his cell phone started to ring. The number on the display told him that it was Mai, one of his superiors. He was surprised, she was not one to make much contact with the regular foot soldiers.

"The girl is gone. Some one took her from the hospital."
Alphonse came to a stop, frowning while trying to understand the meaning of the message just delivered to him.
"What do...? Why wou... Did she get the shoot?"
Alphonse felt responsible for the little girl. Had he been able to do what he was supposed to, she would not have been bitten. And it was with great shame that he felt kind of glad that he had not been able to kill Xtain in that alley as well. If he had, he would still be so very alone.
"Alphonse. Something is going on. I will contact you as soon as we have decided what to do. Until then, execute standing orders."
Alphonse made a face as Mai hung up on him. So she was gone. His mood suddenly went back to its regular, gloomy state. He would not be surprised if Xtain maybe knew something about that. He sighed, if it hadn't been that he knew that if this was a punishment from God, he would have known if that was the actual case, he could have sworn that it was.

As he stepped inside first flinched. He barely thought "werewolf!" before he realised that that was exactly was he had hoped for. Teaching an old dog to sit... He hung up his coat and walked into the bedroom, where Xtain was lying where he had left him. The bread bag was put on the floor just beside the bed and the angel slipped down beside his guest again, gently wrapping his arms around the other's slim waist. He could stay here forever.

Xtain had heard the door but he decided to stay put. He figured Alphons would come to him and he wanted to give the man time. Besides that there was something delicious in the air. Delicious and off... He couldn't quite put his figure on it.

His thoughts were only confirmed the moment contact was made. He could smell the negativity all over his hunter. "You okay?" He asked quietly before adjusting in the other's arms. Xtain wrapped his arms around Alphons. He smelled like bread. Warm, fresh baked bread. "I saw the note... I think I'm touched that you wanted me to stay." He confessed while playing with the hunter's hair.

He looked stressed...so stressed.... he continued to stroke the male's hair, wondering what he was going to do. He wanted to de-stress the male, make things a little easier for him. What could he do? His lips met Alphons' nose as one hand traced down the grooves of Alphons' back. "Want to talk about it?" He quizzed and nuzzled against the man that had quite literally saved his life the night before.

No, he was definitely not okay, the angel thought as he relaxed beside the other. The gentle hands moving through his hair was just one thing of many that turned the world that he knew upside down. It seemed to Alphonse that every thought, every move he made, was a source of conflict. The hands that was bringing him calm right now, that he had longed for, that he had put up the note for, those very hands should have been hated, feared and eliminated.

Execute standing orders

Alphonse let out a deep sigh and wrapped his arms tighter around the other.
"I'm glad you stayed."
The way the wolf touched him stirred both his body and soul. How was an angel supposed to preach about love and care, when he never really had experienced it for himself? The angel sighed once more, yet another blasphemous thought.
"The little girl, that you bit. Someone has taken her from the hospital."
There were no traces of accusations in the angel's voice. He was simply stating facts.
"Her parents were supposed to learn that their child was about to die from rabies. Now they will have to spend the rest of their lives wondering whatever happened to their little girl."
At the end Alphonse's voice became a bit unsteady. He had never really felt it before, but now it hit him like a rock. He hated this world. The cruelty that seemed to follow every time someone felt love. In heaven, sure he had loved. But that was because he was told to. Real affection had not been known to him until know, after he had seen all the pain that mankind is pushed through. How did they ever find the strength to manage?

He wrapped his arms ever tighter around Xtain, hiding his face against the other's body. He had planned to ask Xtain if he knew anything, if he was involved. That was his mission. Now he seemed unable.
"How did this happened? How could you do this to me?"
Alphonse's voice was low, barely a whisper. And he clung to Xtain as if his life depended on it.

Xtain tensed at the news. Instantly his ears went def to the male's voice. This couldn't be happening. This just couldn't be happening. Despite his troubled thoughts he wanted to stay calm and keep Alphonse calm. He was stressed, this much was clear. He wanted to ease away those worries. His fingers continued to play idly, his lips trailing gently along the male's forehead.

A weak chuckle escaped him at the questions, wondering why he had to be cursed to hurt those that bothered to share a feeling or two with him... spare a feeling or two for him. "I'll get her back." He promised. "She'll be fine...." He drew up his wrist to show a charm bracelet with a red encrusted wolf-shaped jewel dangling down. "This suppresses most of our traits, allows us to wander around during a full moon without transformation. We made one for her so she could grow up relatively normal... her family will have her back before the end of the day." He promised again with a bright smile on his face.

Shifting away from Alphonse, Xtain rolled off the edge of the bed. "...I'll make up for doing this to you in that way." He informed and look back. "Excuse me." Xtain once more went for his tattered shirt and slipped it on before hurrying off to a different room. He pulled out a phone from his pocket, newly acquired after disobeying Lucifeal's orders to stay a few days ago, and made the call.

"Where is she?"

"Xtain, a pleasure to hear from you. Have you gathered what I asked of you?" Lucifeal hummed. In the background Xtain could hear someone crying, blubbering for their mommy as if she would come and save them.

"Master, you have no use for her... Let her go."

"It's so rare that you like something... though, it's not her that you like, is it? Tell me pet, where do you keep sneaking off to?" The melodic venom in his voice sent chills up Xtain's spine. For a moment he could not find the words to answer. It wasn't until he heard a loud scream and something like claws scraping against metal that he jumped.

"I made a friend, stop whatever it is your doing to her."

"I'll stop when you bring me my things... If you can't get back here in an hour then, well... darling, won't you spread your legs a little? That's a girl hehe.. if you don't get back here in an hour then there won't be anyone left for me to do things to. Least not till you get back." Xtain could still hear her, crying, telling him no, begging him to stop... what the hell had he done? Xtain listened to the dial tone while trying to collect himself. Three blind eyes, three angel feathers, two butterfly wings, and a book from Jaques on south street.

"I'll be back some other time." Xtain called. Angel feathers would be the hardest thing to find. He'd need to pick up those special glasses from his brother if he wanted to even be able to tell where they were or if they were hiding among them. Hell there wasn't enough time to do all this... that poor girl. This certainly wasn't going to end well.

Battle of beasts (Shexton, mature) - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Battle of beasts (Shexton, mature)   Battle of beasts (Shexton, mature) - Page 3 I_icon_minitimeSun Aug 26, 2012 2:12 pm

Alphonse felt, despite the soothing feeling of Xtain's fingers in his hair, on his back, as if he was drowning in despair. And he had no one else to blame but himself. He was weak, the question of how the other could have done this to him was really more guided to himself, how could he ever have allowed himself to become this corrupted? What was it with the beast that made Alphonse turn away from every single thing that defined who he was, what he was?

He was stirred from his self loathing by the werewolf's promise. What did he mean he could get her back? The clash of his seemingly two realities shock him as the other continued. A charm that allowed werewolf's to walk freely during full moon? We made one for her. Who were "we"?!

Reluctantly he allowed Xtain to get away from him, not feeling ready to go back to reality and deal with it just yet. With tired eyes he looked as the other disappeared into the kitchen, the only other room there were in the small flat. Xtain's voice could be heard out to where Alphonse was lying but he pulled a pillow over his face, for some reason not standing the pleading tone with which the werewolf called whoever it was on the other side of the line master.

"I'll be back some other time!"

Not until the door had shut behind the werewolf Alphonse dared to move, rushing into the bathroom and leaned over the toilet. Since he had not eaten for some time, it hurt tremendously to throw up. Wiping the vomit from his lips, the angel stood up on shaky legs. He met his own eyes in the mirror, it was a ragged and worn face that looked back. Perhaps all this had indeed been a trial, but also an oppertunity.

No matter what he felt for Xtain, he could not just stand by. If there were someone out there, making magical charms for werewolfs.... They needed to know who he was and what his reasons were. Alphonse was still an angel sent to earth to protect the humans. Still shaking the angel moved from the bathroom back into his the room where his coat where, finding his cellphone with shaky hands. He was not sure how his news would be received, especially since he didn't see any way to tell about what he knew without telling how it come that he had gain this information. The love of God could be very painful at times. Every tone that sounded in his ear as he waited for Mai to pick up made his heart beat faster and faster.
"Alphonse."
Alphonse had to swallow hard before he could speak. But the urgency could be clearly heard in his voice.
"I need to see you."
Mai waisted no time, she belonged to the line of angels that were hard and efficient.
"Meet me outside St John's Episcopal Church. Can you be there within fifteen minuets?"
With a quick walk and some running, it should not be any problem. It was in the south part of town. The angel was out of the door before the conversation had ended, leaving the bread he had bought to share with Xtain completely forgotten.

PostSubject: Re: Battle of beasts (Shexton, mature)   Battle of beasts (Shexton, mature) - Page 3 I_icon_minitimeMon Aug 27, 2012 3:15 pm

The first stop was Jaques. More than likely he had some sort of clue or hint on how to gather the rest of the items. Honestly, he already knew that everything was going to fall to hell. Still, his legs carried him as fast as they would allow. He passed cars on the street, he leapt over people on their bikes if they didn’t move out of his way. His cover was risked and more than likely blown, but none of that mattered.

Once he arrived at Jaques’ home he mashed the door clear open. “Hand it over.” Was his simple command. The red headed Frenchman laid on his desk, already drunk.

“No hello? How are you doing? Thank you for holding this for me? You’re such an ungrateful little shit.” Jaques hissed.

“I don’t have time for your shit, there’s a child at stake.” Xtain said calmly with a small glare.

“It’s not like you to be so uncomposed.” Jaques said with a sigh while eyeing the damage on his door. “You’re buying me a new door.” He said under his breath as he headed to his safe to get the book.

“You don’t get it, I’m directly responsible for this girl, I turned her.”

Jaques paused and looked over his shoulder. With a small sigh the Frenchman pushed a hand through hair and pushed his glasses up to the bridge of his nose. “You werewolves… I pity you poor creatures…” He said distantly. “What do you need? The book for sure.”

“Three angel feathers, three blind eyes, and two butterfly wings. I don’t really know how I’m gonna get my hands on the angel feathers but the rest shouldn’t be a problem.” Xtain said with a frown.

“Angel feathers, huh?” Jaques sighed softly. “…Lucifeal is an angel… why can’t you take three from him?”

Xtain made a face. “Lucifeal isn’t an angel…is he?”

“Yeah, he is.” Jaques chuckled. “A fallen one, but still an angel… He probably needs white feathers.” Jaques said while flipping through the book. He began to speak in Latin. The longer he spoke the more a strange glow began to appear along his hands. The words began to light and a ring began to appear in a circle.

“What’s happening?” Xtain asked only to receive a glare from Jaques as he continued to read. A figure began to appear in the ring, struggling, squirming, screaming. “If it’s hurting someone you shouldn’t do it.” He growled and moved around the ring to grab the book but Jaques extended his leg and kept Xtain at length, finishing the spell before looking at the squirming angel before them.

“It doesn’t hurt, just pins them here for a minute or two. Probably scares em more than anything.” Jaques reached over and plucked three feathers from the flailing wings before handing them over to Xtain.

“Go. I’ll take care of angel face over here.” He winked before glaring. “SHUT UP IT DOESN’T EVEN HURT YOU CUNT!” He snarled at the angel.

Xtain smirked and took the book back. “Thanks.” He headed off knowing what was next. The hospital. Burn victims unit. What he was about to do, he was not proud of. His victim, he was sure, was already dead or very close to it. His eyes had been glazed over from the flames, blind forevermore however short that would be. The butterflies were collected at the local zoo, though they were difficult to obtain because most of the animals knew. They could smell it. They could always smell it.

Coming home was hard, especially since he knew what was waiting there. Still his legs burned like battery acid forcing him ever foreword. He charged through the doors just as his claws dug into his own blind eye. Eyes didn’t come in threes. It only made sense to use his own as the last piece of tribute.

The agony of prying his own eye out of his face was swift yet drawn. Regardless he arrived calling for his master. Hunting down the little girl he feared to be no more. Instead what he found was something far worse.

A few hours later a dazed and confused girl was found just outside the city. The girl was declared the missing child from the hospital at the local police station. For the most part she seemed alright. A few scrapes here and there. She didn’t remember where she had been, what she had been doing, or how long she had been away from her mother and father. The last thing she remembered was a doctor giving her a bracelet and telling her if she ever took it off she would die. When police officers tried to get the bracelet off to find out more about the doctor the girl panicked, screamed, cried, and did all she could to keep it. Apparently she believed the strange doctor that had investigators baffled since no such doctor described as a tall thin man with long blonde hair and blue eyes ever worked in the hospital, ever was in the hospital, or ever existed at all. No video tape evidence showed of the doctor’s existence, merely a little girl talking to herself, getting up, and walking out with no one stopping her. She had not been sexually abused, she had not been mutilated, she looked to be fine. The only major difference was a mark on her neck that looked like an eye about the size of your thumb. She was returned to her family that night.

Xavier walked out of the train station wearing a beanie on his head and tattered clothes. True to form he looked almost identical to his twin, Xtain, though there was one rather large difference. The second his shoulder brushed against anyone, someone looked at him a certain way, or anything loud came near he would run or scream. It was rare for Xavier to leave his home in the abandoned underground railway, station nine, but he was running low on supplies
and he was supposed to meet his brother in the afternoon at the park. The lycan was thin, rail thin and he wore a pair of glasses with one cracked lens.

It didn’t take long for him to spot two figures in the park. It was enough for Xavier to know not to go there. He pulled out his phone and headed elsewhere. “Xtain, bnot the park. We’ll meet behind the grocery store. I need to get something for this itch anyway. Call me back.” Xavier hung up his phone and headed back to the grocery store. He bought himself a loaf of bread and an apple before heading behind the store where he found what he wanted. Some pair of guys selling something to young stupid kids.

“Hey man, what do you want?”

“Acid.” Xavier said bluntly. Once he paid he headed off to his usual spot. It was pretty secluded. He made himself comfortable, looking like the crazy homeless bum he was, and laid a strip on his tongue. Here he waited for Xtain. He waited…and waited…and waited until his trip was over. The day had turned to night. Xavier began to stumble up to his feet. He called his brother and frowned when it went straight to voicemail. “Shit….”

Hanging up his phone, Xavier began heading towards the mansion. He wasn’t sure if he was going to go in or just wait outside and watch but he wasn’t sure. He wasn’t strong. He had been hiding as a human since the moment he learned how to suppress himself. He wasn’t useful at all, hence why Lucifeal never bothered with him. “Great….” He grumbled. “Just great…..” He pushed a hand through his hair and tried to think. He could smell Xtain’s blood… But he couldn’t smell Xtain, himself, anymore. “Not here, huh?” He asked himself and began walking along the perimeter, wondering if there was a clue or a hint as to where Xtain might’ve ended up.

Name: Xavier
Height: 6'1"
Hair: Dull Brown/Blonde
Eyes: Reddish Brown (no eyepatch, always wearing glasses)
Race: Werewolf
Xavier has always been a little different. When he was a pup he refused to eat like the rest of his pack. Instead of messily ripping his meals apart he would collect a small potion and mix it with leaves and vegetables before dining neatly alone. He narrowly escaped Lucifeal when his brother was taken and found him many years later. Xavier, unlike the majority of his kind, has never killed a human nor turned a human. He chooses to isolate himself from anyone and everyone. He frequently gathers knowledge and surfaces from the black pits of the underground railway to buy supplies or feed his drug problem. Xavier believes that if someone touches him enough his skin will burn off. He loathes physical contact unless it's through a glove of some sort. He is scrawny, paranoid, very smart ( he collects books ) and antisocial.

With a ragged breath the angel reached the church, within 15 minutes almost on the second. That was another down side with having your being concealed within a human body. In his angel form, there needed to be a lot more than just a quick run for him to loose his breath.

Mai was waiting outside the gates of the yard surrounding the old church, built as in Gothic style, as so many of the other churches in the town. As usual she had this air of effectiveness, a feeling that easily could be taken for impatience. But that was wrong. Patience was a virtue, and Mai had plenty of it. Alphonse felt his heart skip a beat as he approached, he had been unable to come up with any kind of plan or strategy during the fifteen minutes that had passed since they had talked over the phone. He started to think that perhaps he should have tried to manage this on his own. A selfish thought, especially since he knew that he knew to little to be able to manage to solve this puzzle by himself.
"Alphonse."
Mai greeted him by putting her right hand over her heart. Alphonse mirrored the movement.
"Mai."
The higher angel gestured for him to walk inside the gates. The humans, some of them anyway, put a lot of faith to these huge houses built in the honour of their God, though they contained little true power. The way to God did not go through the words of priests and man made rituals. It went through the heart.
Despite this, angels did find a lot of comfort in these houses of God, even though they were not meant for them. They sat down on a stone bench in the shadow of the tall stone building. Mai looked in silence at Alphonse, waiting for him to begin. It was after all the blond angel that had called for this meeting.

"Ahem. The werewolfs. There is someone, or some ones, that have the power to make amulets for them that can keep them from transforming."
Alphonse waited in silence as Mai seemed to calculate the information that had been given, looking past him. Perhaps she was in contact with other, higher angels. As in all wars, foot soldiers like Alphonse was kept from a lot of information.
"You are sure of this. Where is your proof, do you have one of these amulets?
The dark haired angel looked at Alphonse in anticipation, this was truly disturbing news, but nether the less something that they might be able to benefit from. Imagine, being able to control these beasts from hell.
"No, I don't. I... I spoke, I happened to get a chance to speak to one."
Mai's facial expression changed a bit. Not much, but you could see a small wrinkle on her forehead, expressing confusion.
"Orders are to kill. How could you be engaged in a conversation?"
Alphonse felt how his cheeks once more turned to a darker colour as he avoided to look straight at the other.
"I... lost a brawl. And he spared me. It was the same werewolf who bit the little girl. He said that she could be helped, and then told me about these bracelets and then he..!"
The blond felt how the other angel's gaze intensified and he came to a halt. Perhaps he had said too much. Or too little.
"Speaking to werewolfs is dangerous, Alphonse. It's forbidden, just as contact with demons are for an angel with you rank. It is good that you have come to find this out, but from here on, speak to Hamal. He shall know what to do. And you, forget about this speaking beast, and find peace."
Alphonse could sense a bit of worry emitting from the other angel. Suddenly Alphonse felt as his someone had emptied a bucket of cold water over his head, and he could not tear his blue eyes from the dark brown staring in to his soul. She knew, she had seen it all. And she gave him a warning. The blond angel fell down on his knees in front of the Angel of Discipline.
"Two deadly sins, child. Wrath and lust can so easily corrupt a man's heart. You can not afford to give in.
Alphonse exhaled, for the first time since he had been sent to this dark world he felt as if he were not alone.

Except from the times Xtain had been close. Taking, touching, filling that strange void that made everything to doleful. Mai cupped his face and made him meet her gaze once more.
"God can forgive us from what we do, but never from what we are. Think it through, thouroughly, Sandalphonse, angel of the Lord."
He barely dared to breath, but suddenly he felt a sharp pain cut through him. Mai must have felt it too, as she let go of him and the both crouched over the uncomfortable sensation. It was over almost as soon as it started, but the two looked at each other, trying not to show the discomfort and almost fear that they felt. Mai got up, her legs somewhat unsteady, leaving Alphonse to believe that it probably would be ok for him to stay on his knees for a little time longer.
"Contact Hamal. I must go."
The urgency in her voice confirmed what Alphonse had believed. Something very disturbing had just happened, and he would not be entirely surprised if it were connected to whatever it was that Xtain was involved in. Alphonse sighed deeply as he finally dared to stand up, his dark companion long gone. Perhaps he would soon miss the dull reality that had been snatched from him not days ago.

It scared him, how easily he could just, disregard an order. He was pretty sure that he had figured out why it was so important for the higher ranks that an angel like himself did not engaged with werewolfs in the way that he had done. An angel could not feel doubt. And if you thought that what you hunted was nothing but wild, savage animals and killers, well then you didn't even had to try to justify your actions. But if you came to realise that they were more than beasts, even human, than it could be hard to handle for someone who believed that they could only act out of good. Alphonse had not yet contacted Hamal though the dark was now surrounding him and the streets that he had wandered for hours and hours. He had to talk to Xtain first. He just had to, even though the warning words from Mai echoed in his head. As did the reminding feeling of the unidentified pain, that had made him feel somewhat molested. The buzzing from many voices, there but just out of reach had made his head tired and heavy, so he had turned them out, not even letting his brothers and sisters of his own rank get access to his mind. It was just silence. And he was tired. Oh so tired.

The wooden bench he was sitting on, right under a street light connected to a bus stop was getting cold, and so was he. But he felt as if he had shut down. Only thoughts of Xtain floated through his head. The only thing he really shouldn't think about. The buzzing from his phone woke him up from his coma-like state. A text from Mai.

We have found her. She's shaken but safe. Do not forget.

Alphonse felt how energy flooded through him agian. If the girl was out, perhaps Xtain was too? And the only way they really knew how to find each other where through that ghastly park, and Alphonse's flat. The angel got up on his feet and hurried on his way home, completely forgetting about the last warning.

Battle of beasts (Shexton, mature) - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Battle of beasts (Shexton, mature)   Battle of beasts (Shexton, mature) - Page 3 I_icon_minitimeSat Sep 22, 2012 6:30 pm

It had nearly been a whole month. Every day Xavier would wander the premise. Every day he would look for his brother and every day he would fail to find him. The stench of his brother's blood plagued the air and on certain nights he could swear that the screams echoing from below the mansion were his. Xavier had never come up to the surface so often and he wasn't very in touch with anyone so he couldn't ask for help. He didn't know if Xtain had friends, he didn't know what to do. He would go to the same coffee shop every day and order himself a cup. If anyone touched him he would become verbally hostile, if anyone would speak to him he gave them a weird look. Any supernatural beings he would avoid, able to see them through his glasses.

When he finally did see Xtain, it wasn't the brother he had before. Xtain looked like hell. The one good eye he had was wide open and faintly blue in color. The eye he had ripped out looked burned, his body was mangled and mutilated. Certain wounds wouldn't even close. "Well that took you long enough." Xavier said as Xtain walked passed the rot iron gates. "Where you off to?" He asked. Xtain didn't respond. "....Xtain?" He walked almost like a ghost passing through dementions, barely cognate of this world. "Xtain, oi!" Xavier reached out to grab his brother's shoulder only to jump back when blood splotched out of Xtain's side and the werewolf stumbled. The blood was thick, almost like it was mixed with ground bones. "Jesus!" Xavier scrunched his nose.

"I have a few days off... I..."

"Shut your face." Xavier growled and lifted Xtain up. "ew ew ew ew ew ew ew" he growled and hurried Xtain back to his home in the abandoned underground train station in district nine. He cauterized every wound so they would actually closed. He forced Xtain to rest despite his ramblings of having a job to do. The whole night Xtain had horrible nightmares, ones that Xavier could actually hear him screaming about. His cries and whimpers sent chills through his spine, but the rest had to be somehow good for his brother.

That morning Xtain was up early. Xavier was gone, undoubtedly out finding medicine for Xtain. Not that Xtain would wait for that. He was feeling stronger than he had the day before. After making sure the burned part of his face was hidden and wrapped away in bandages so it wouldn't disturb or disgust the one he wanted to see, Xtain headed off to his previous destination. He was certain that Alphonse would be pissed to say the least. But, at least he kept his promise. He got the little girl out of Lucifeal's grasp.

Around six am on a saturday morning, Xtain knocked on the door to Alphonse's apartment. His knock was rough and hard to display the urgency in his actions. Once the door was open, Xtain lunged and latched onto the one who opened the door. He held the angel tightly, unwilling to let him go, unwilling to let himself be pushed away. He didn't know why it was so important for him to come here, why he had been thinking of this moment almost the entire time he had been away, why he had so desperately needed the hunter. He immediately began to re-familiarize himself with the male's scent, to draw in everything he had, to appreciate the moment... but it was being ruined by his victim.

Xtain pushed the two of them foreword and flipped their positions, slamming the door shut with one hand while pinning Alphonse to the door with the other. One hand remained above his head on the door while the other tried to hold him down against his chest. He finally took a moment to just look at him, to see that this was who he had been waiting for... He moved the hand from his chest to his face and closed the space between their bodies. His lips crashed against Al's, longing to taste those lips once again. This person, whether he wanted to be or not, was special to him. He hoped that somehow, some way, he wasn't completely worthless in the other's eyes.

Battle of beasts (Shexton, mature) - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Battle of beasts (Shexton, mature)   Battle of beasts (Shexton, mature) - Page 3 I_icon_minitimeSun Sep 23, 2012 3:32 pm

Alphonse had waited. The first day after the girl had been released he had stayed at home, just in case Xtain would be standing outside his door. Day two he had taken another walk around town, hoping that he might be able to spot the other. The alley where that had first met, the café, the park... The werewolf were not to be found. On the third day he threw out the bread he had bought on the day Xtain had left with a promise to return. They had turned hard and dry. Which Alphonse felt himself turn as well.

In the beginning of the second week he had stopped to go out to just look for Xtain. The days and nights when he was out, working alone or with other angels he was extra attentive, still hoping that he would spot the other. One evening when he had been patrolling in district nine, he thought he had seen him. The man disappeared quickly out of sight, and since he did not want to draw more attention to his state of mind (the angels in the city had been notified that their brother had had a rough time and in need of their support) he had not wanted to call out to his current partner. When he had returned alone a couple of days later he had seen the man in the distance again. And even though he had looked so much like Xtain, he had had two working eyes. The idea of them perhaps being related had struck the angel. But before he had been able to approach the stranger he had disappeared again. Alphonse decided in bitterness that he had imagined it. Hamal, master of Logic had spent plenty of sober hours with him, trying to make him realise how dangerously close he had been to make a serious mistake. It was almost that he should be glad that the events in the park had turned, that the evil act in the end had been done to him and not by him. Wrath was a sin of the mind, lust a sin of the body. And it was after all their bodies that had been weekend upon their arrival to this world, their minds were still the same. So he should just move past this, right?

Alphonse had tried.

The girl had been an issue as well. The fact that she where back with her parents had raised a lot of issues, she had been bitten after all. With help of the info given by Alphonse they had soon been able to clarify that the bracelet she wore in fact were a charm that would stop her from transform, an artefact made with powerful magic. But what to do with her? She was a werewolf never the less, a danger to human kind. Alphonse had not been able to stand idle by, the parents had lost their girl once. The decision made was harsh, but gave the girl a fair chance. She would be allowed to live with her parents, but should the bracelet ever be removed and she would turn, it would fall upon Alphonse to eliminate her. An order he could live with.

In the beginning of the third week, the dreams and tears had come. When he finally had relaxed, thought that it was over, that it no longer mattered. There had been dreams of Xtain, standing naked and beautiful before him, dreams in which he had been screaming out in agony for Alphonse's name as invisible hands inflicted pain and wounds which left scars all over his body. There had been dreams of the dark male calling him with a seducing voice, and just as Alphonse willingly had let Xtain hold him in his arms, the werewolf had bared his fangs, biting down hard and ripping the angel's throat apart. In a mixture of pain and pleasure his wings came out, white and bright, just to slowly turn dark, feathers falling of leaving just rotten bones rising behind his back. With the image of himself having blood running down his chin and chest and eyes turned a mixture of pitch black and blood red he would wake up, screaming and sobbing. The good dreams, in which he actually dared to touch Xtain back as they made love, brought only sorrow and feelings of shame.

He had decided to not care any more. Everything he did became routine. He stopped looking for the tall, dark male with only one, golden glimmering eye among the masses of people. He took jobs that had him travelling to neighbouring towns, where werewolfs and even demons were bigger problems. He left too early in the mornings and came back too late in the nights. To exhausted to dream, to tired to feel.

And even though his superiors found it pleasing that he seemed to have found the right path once more, they reminded him that his human body had it needs. So this weekend he had gotten time off. No missions, just rest. And this Friday evening he had not feared the dreams that might come during the night. He felt ready and done with mourning and analysing. The fact that Xtain, the gold eyed werewolf never returned, was perhaps after all for the best. What future would they ever had anyway? Alphonse's love was supposed to be only for God, and Xtain was his natural prey. Humans, lambs and the wolf, an impossible combination.

So when the urgent knock on the door sounded in the flat he did actually feel a bit annoyed. Even though he might not have wanted to admit it, it had been real nice to go to bed with the knowledge that he would not have to go up unitl he woke the next day. But the sound from the door made him believe that perhaps something urgent had happened. -he had after all turned his phone off.

With a yawn he got up from the bed, quickly pulling his trousers and a shirt on. He didn't bother to button either of them properly. His small cave of solitude had been invaded many times these past weeks by angels and even a priest! to make sure that he had not broken down. So without a second thought he opened the door. Before he had the chance to act upon the presence he felt on the other side of the door, the werewolf charged. Suddenly Alphonse felt the strong arms of the very person he had decided never to think of again wrap around him as of they were to never let go. The angel panicked. He did his best to free himself from those wonderful arms. As he suddenly got smashed into the door he could feel the air leave him, and as he tried to catch his breath, still trying to keep the other away from him. The hand on his chest felt like it burned his skin and he met the gaze of the eye taking him in. A golden eye filled with need, lust, despair and desperation. Alphonse realised with a bang to his heart what kind of state Xtain was in and a so many feelings that he was not authorised to feel completely exploded. Before the hand moved from his chest to his face he managed to breath a sentence.
"What happened to you..."

As the warm lips crushed against his own, a terrible fear rose within him. No matter how silly some thought it was, he had been so very hurt as Xtain never came back. The short time they had spent together had left a lasting longing for something unknown within him. He had searched for a happiness that did not belong to him, and hence he had been punished with great pain. A warning. Do not go where you do not belong.
"Mhhn..!"
So now, as he felt the warmth that he had missed and longed for, the taste of the other on his lips and the void that he had tried to pretend not existed being filled, he started to struggle again. He could not bare to go through this again, it would completely destroy him. He could not bare to see Xtain being taken from him again. Another feeling mixed with those who was of concern for himself. He could not bare to see any one hurt Xtain. He tried to pull the werewolf away from him, keeping a determined grip on the back of the other's tattered top.
"Xtain! Stop, stop, you're hurt! Bleeding!"
He decided to try another approach and instead of pulling and pushing the other away, he closed his arms around the other, pressing his body against the werewolf, holding him as close as he dared.
"Stop..."

The kiss was only harsh for a few brief moments, but to him they seemed like forever. Instantly he wanted more. He wanted to leave the disheveled clothes by the door, he wanted to make Alphonse twist in agony and pleasure, he wanted to remake his mark and not be forgotten by the bigot before him. He could only interpret Alphonse's words as negative. Stop, I'm scared. You're hurting me. I don't like this. I don't want this. You hurt me, I'm done with you. These interpretations to the other's cry infested his brain, though he refused to quit.

His teeth didn't pierce Alphonse's flesh though it certainly did taunt the neck and collar bone before kisses trailed over his shoulder. He stopped, however, when he was suddenly held tighter. He hadn't really torn any clothes off Alphonse's body and he hadn't really gone too far in his actions but the hold satisfied his own urgency. The need to be wanted again, the burning desire to be worth something in the hunter's eyes was filled. Now he could relax.

The wolf glanced at Alphonse with his golden eye with new flex of cloudy blue. He slumped into the male's body and took another breath, stealing smells every chance he got. "It's dry," he finally said in a quiet, hoarse voice. Hoarse from the strain of his own screams. "I'm not bleeding anymore... I'll be fine, but I'll have a few new scars." He chuckled wearily. His body only had the one flaw on his face and the line on his back, everything else was supposed to be perfect. Now he would be wretched to see, a hideous creature all together. He wasn't thrilled about that.

"On the plus, I got the little girl out. Did you know?" Xtain asked, trying to force a smile or lighten the mood.

The angel was terrified. The kiss, the harsh way the other touched, the teeth grazing his skin, all of it was enough to make him want to forget everything, all the pain, the agony and the sorrow. To forget the warnings and the remarks from his brother. It was enough to make him want to fall from grace.

But he didn't forget, how could he. It was ridiculous really, they had only known each other for a couple of days, of could he be so hurt by a strangers actions? And if he was so hurt from someone that he barely knew, how would he ever dare to allow himself to become even more close to anyone? How much more would it hurt then?

But the worries for himself was pushed away as Xtain spoke. How could someone be so casual after this kind of abuse?

I got the little girl out.
"This? This was all done to you because of the girl?!" The angel grabbed the front of the werewolf's tattered clothes, resisting the urge to violently shake him. "How could you allow any one to do this to you?!"
The guilt rose once more within the angel. Had it not been for him, had he just been silent, or if he just hadn't approached the werewolf again, for that matter, this would not have been done to Xtain. Not because of Alphonse, in any case. The angel leaned his head against Xain's chest, breathing deeply. He felt like crying, but was all out of tears.
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry... I'm sorry..."

"Mm?" Xtain was confused to say the least. He wasn't sure why he was being held at arms length or why he was being asked how he could let this happen to himself. He wasn't sure if he could explain, if he had the strength to go into detail, if he even had the voice at the moment. Soon enough he felt the angel's face in his chest. His arm slid from the door to around the obviously hurt male, whispering his hushed apologies. "Stop...." Xtain whispered.

"I was punished for biting him..." He admitted. "I lost my temper and fought. It's worse when you fight." He explained. "I wouldn't have been gone so long if I wasn't being stubborn... so don't say sorry for......" Xtain suddenly scoffed. "I don't even know what you're saying sorry for." His hold tightened for just a moment before his arms slid down in a limp sort of way. "It's funny... all I could think about was you... every day, every moment... even in my once pleasant dreams..." Xtain chuckled. "I was afraid that he would find you." A frown tugged Xtain's lip. He wanted to kiss Alphonse again. Talking was the last thing on his mind right now.

"If you have any desire to protect yourself, tell me to leave and never endanger your life so recklessly by coming near you again. I'm too selfish to make that choice, because..." Xtain trailed off, not sure what his because was. Alphonse made him feel happy, safe, and cared for. He wanted to give the same back, but he knew that as long as he lived under Lucifeal's rule that Alphonse would be in danger. Why did he have to be so greedy? Why did all of his thoughts consist of this man and this man alone? Why did he want what shouldn't have ever been within his grasp in the first place? "If anyone should be sorry it's me. I'm a hazard to your health, and I'm sure the toll I've taken on your life is shit."

(TT^TT I'll wait forever for you! *clings*)
