| You are in Africa, a wild lion. There are no humans for miles and they don’t bother coming towards us anymore. You walk into an area by a watering hole. You look around and see a large male and the other members of the pack, either laying in trees, grooming themselves or just playing around. “Welcome to my pride lands.” You hear from a large male lion. He looks at you with wisdom in his eyes. You look around and see the happy pride that supports him. He stands tall on a rock, looking at you. “What have you come here for?”
Name: Krato

Gender: Male
History: Krato grew up in a pride where his father was the alpha male. He had only been about one year old, when the pride was attacked by three rogue males. Before the killing started, Krato’s mother Kitara, forced him to leave the pride along with other male cubs. The rogues would have killed the cubs first. So Krato left, alone for he didn’t really know the other males except for Nuka, but Nuka was apart of a group and they thought Krato would only slow them down, being the youngest of the bunch. He wandered the Savannah, afraid and alone. As he grew, he gained a keen eye and wisdom to match. One day he was hunting, when he heard a lioness that sounded so familiar to him. It was Tanaka, his older sister. They were happily reunited after she left the pride also. They found a pride ran by Dakarai and Casey and soon became happy members as well. Now Krato had gotten tired of being ruled over, so he left, forming his own pride now.

History: Tanaka was the first lioness cub, born to Kitara and Remus and the first born into their pride. She lived happily with her mother, father, and other pride members. Remus ruled the pride fairly and justly. Tanaka looked up to him and grew strong, because of him. Her mother gave birth to another litter of cubs and low and behold, Krato was born. Tanaka instantly connected with him, teaching him things and always playing with him. The day the rogue lions came, she saw her favorite brother, Krato, being forced to leave. She cried in her mother’s chest for him. She knew he was not old enough to make it on his own and hoped for his safety. When the rogues approached Remus, Kitara, Tanaka and the remaining females int he pride, they killed Remus and threatened Kitara, taking advantage of her and saving Tanaka for “later” when she grew up. Tanaka stayed in the pack for two years after that, defending her mother. One day Dragon came to Tanaka to “claim his prize”. She clawed his face and ran away from the pride. A month later, after being alone, she found Krato and then they, together, found Dakarai and his pride. When Krato wanted to leave, she could not leave her brother again, so she left with him and they started this pride.

History: Nuka was born to Safina and Cledus, along with his twin Rashida. They grew up under rule of Remus and Kitara. They grew with Tanaka, but didn’t really care for her that much. when the rogue lions came, Nuka was rushed out of the pride by his own father. He had befriended other young male cubs and decided to group up with them, but they did not allow Krato to join them for he was much younger and much weaker. The group was about to leave, when Rashida followed them. Nuka was happy to have his best friend with him, for without her, leaving would have been much harder. So the group set off to find shelter. One by one, the others in the group found other prides to join, finally leaving Rashida and Nuka to fend for themselves. About two and half years after leaving their pride, they came across two old friends in Giyani: Krato and Tanaka. Even though they were not the best of friends then, they have become that way now! So Nuka left with Krato, of course.

The day the rogue lions came, Rashida watched her twin get rushed out of the pride by her own father. She was torn between her parents and her brother. She knew that he may not survive on his own, so she snuck away from her parents to be with him. They formed a group with other males getting forced out as well. She wanted Krato to join, but the others would not allow it. One by one the other lions left to other prides, finally leaving Rashida and Nuka alone. The wandered for a while until they came across a familiar scent. It was Krato. They joined Giyani and left with them when Krato wanted to.

| Name: Akira Age: Adult Gender: Female History: Akira has a very... different history than most lions. She was bon and raised in a different pride, a long way from where she is now. Her cubhood was like any other: fun, playful, curious, adventurous, and so on. When she was a teen, her father brutally murdered her mother and forced the alpha male from his place. She fled with her brother, Clyde. She was forced to leave her other brother and her sister. She and her brother have been wandering the wilderness for a while now, and came upon Giyani Lion Pride. After that pride was destroyed, she went in search of her true love, Krato. Now that she has found him, she has never been more happy Family: Her brothers are Clyde and Krono. When she was just a cub, she was released from the zoo with her mother and her siblings. Her mother, born and raised in a zoo also, died in a few weeks, leaving the cubs alone. A friendly lioness named Zafira cared for them. At teens, they were driven away by Zafira's mate. They were forced to live on their own, traveling from pride to pride in hopes of being accepted. They weren't. They ended up traveling very far, in a wild safari. There they were captured by poachers. Also, there, Sun and her siblings met Clyde. Together, the five lions escaped the clutches and made their way back to Giyani. There, Sun's three older siblings left her when they had to.
