Frustration

I don't know
How to make you see
See how frustrated
I am with you

You're interested for a day
Then you leave
You start again

I just don't know
How to make you
See how frustrated
I am with you

Sending me a message
You start talking
Then ignore me for months

I'm so confused
So frustrated with you
I don't know how to make you see

We had always known
Deep down inside
That you were dying
Yet what was I to do?
The pain I felt
From just sitting there
Was incomparable to yours
As blood drips slowly
Washing me with your pain
They don’t understand
You were in so much pain
Who was I to let you suffer?
When you begged me to end it
They never understood
Even when they
Snatched your body
From my cold numb arms
They didn’t understand
My heart shattered
As they held me on the ground
Taking you away
Unable to see your pain
They just can’t understand
No one but I will ever know
How much you hated
This dreary unforgiving world
Finally now, my love
You can rest peacefully
Without the fear of pain
